Why Those People Need Our Help?

Around 5 million people are residing here in northwest Syria, in a closed area with limited resources. Among them, there are more than 1.5 million children, 189 thousand orphans, 36 thousand widows, and two million displaced people living in tents and suffering from the absence of the minimum life necessities and health services. They mainly depend on humanitarian aid to meet their daily needs especially with the lack of job opportunities and their poor financial situation.

Our Mobile Clinics Serving 15,000 IDPs a Month

Through its centers and medical projects spread in northern Syria, the Syrian Expatriates Medical Association (SEMA) is working on providing various primary health care services to community residents, displaced people, and the most vulnerable groups. Among these projects, there are six mobile clinics that roam the overcrowded camps and offer various free-of-charge medical services along with nutritional supplements for pregnant and lactating women as well as children; the clinics are accompanied by a community health team, a psychosocial support team, and a nutrition team.

Why this campaign?

Through this campaign, “Supporting Mobile Clinics in Syria”, SEMA aims at securing the needed fund that will contribute to expanding the medical coverage of these clinics in Syria’s northern region where displaced people reside, and it also aims at maintaining the provision of services as well as increasing the quality of the provided services. In addition, the purpose of this campaign is to establish a new mobile clinic, which would increase the number of reached beneficiaries with free medical services.

Your donation of 50$ will contribute to treating 10 patients through primary health care services.

Your donation of 100$ will contribute to treating 5 cases of chronic diseases.

Your donation of 1000$ will contribute to creating more than 200 patients with different diseases and will provide them with primary health care services.

Your generous donation of 5000$ will contribute to run a medical mobile clinic for one month.
